Kettler Forlines Homes was a proud participant and sponsor of the Maryland Building Industry Association’s annual Spring Fundraiser, The Bull & Oyster Roast, on May 3, 2017. Held at Ruppert Landscape Headquarters in Laytonsville, Maryland, the event featured fabulous food, live jazz, and plenty of fun for all.

All proceeds from the event benefit Home Builders Care Foundation, MBIA’s official charity. The mission of the Home Builders Care Foundation (HBCF) is to give back by utilizing the skills and resources of building industry members on shelter-related construction for the homeless and others at-risk. Our own Tom Kettler is a past board member and President of the Foundation. Donations to HBCF help build and renovate supportive housing facilities and shelter for the homeless and families in crisis throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Donations were also accepted for the Professional Women in Building Council’s Clothing Drive to benefit the Interfaith Works Clothing Center. Located in Rockville, the center provides free clothing and household goods to almost 13,500 income-qualified residents each year.

HBCF was established in the early 1980s as Operation Tom Sawyer (OTS) and functioned as the charitable arm of the Suburban Maryland Building Industry Association.

Kettler Forlines Homes has been an active supporter of HBCF for many years, and is honored to support their charitable works.
