Fall Fun at Homestead Farm

Categories: Uncategorized | Posted: September 21, 2018 | Comments Off on Fall Fun at Homestead Farm

As the leaves become bright and bold, and sweet autumn scents fill the air, venture outside with your children and take part in festive fall fun. One of our favorite Kettler family traditions is visiting Homestead Farm, located right up from road from the Reserve at Brightwell Crossing, and we hope you enjoy it, too!

This lush, wide open farm is the perfect place to visit on a sunny fall day, when the landscape is colorful and the air is fresh. You and your children can pick your own delicious apples, from Jonagold, to Daybreak Fuji, to Crimson Crisp, and take them home for daytime snacking or a sweet dessert. When you’re finished finding the ripest treats, pick your favorite pumpkins and mums for the prettiest seasonal home decor.

Take in the expansive green fields on a hayride as your children marvel at the vibrant produce and farm animals roaming around. No matter how old they are, everyone is sure to love spending time together as the season brings about an exciting change in weather and scenery.

In a Kettler Forlines home in Maryland or West Virginia, you always have the opportunity to head outside and discover something fresh and new with your family. This fall, take a trip to Homestead Farm — while you enjoy autumn apples in the comfort of your home, you’ll always think of this fall oasis!
